This song took a few years to reach completion, and like many songs started just as a single line, and chorus that i couldn't shake. The first semi-completed version was brought about through collaboration with writer Michelle Embree, and was included as the final song in the CrushKit Trilogy, a series of stories by Michelle Embree set to music by LadyBabyMiss.

After its initial release, I decided I wanted to work with a producer, and was lucky to meet Steve Gilliland who helped me immensely in bringing the song to life.
